Babolat SFX shoe disappointing
User: Sue Trueblood, CA
I ordered these because of the spacious toe room described in other reviews, and also because of a friends recommendation. Although the toe box was roomy, so was the heel, causing me to feel as if I were stepping out of the shoe. The heel slipping would be improved if the laces had one more eyelet at the top, but there is no way to tighten the fit around the ankle. Also, the arch support was actually uncomfortable until I added a gel insole. When these wear out, I will definitely return to Asics Gel Revolution 5, the best shoes I have found for comfort and support.
User: Scott Christenson, Utah
Great comfort, support and performance on the hard court. Roomy around toe area. I had to size down 1/2 size to get the right fit, though.
Mens babolat sfx
User: Emmanuel Olympia, Ca
I bought these shoes as a possible replacement to the discontinued then modified prince T9. The forefoot is wide enough to accomodate my feet and not aggravate my bunions. They are reasonably light. After a total of six hours of play on hard court, no signs of outsole wear is observable. However, i miss the glove like fit from the T9. I also find the material of the uppers too rigid and does not conform to individual foot shape. I miss the traditional style of tennis shoe fit of say like the Adidas Stan Smith. I wish tennis shoe designers and manufacturers judiciously use modern technology but continue to use proven natural materials such as leather that provides good ventilation, aesthetics, and comfort.
A GREAT SHOE FOR YOU!
User: Fred Shlesinger, Texas
BABOLAT SFX SHOE... I have been wearing this wonderfully engineered shoe for the past 2 years. The 2 aspects about this shoe that separates it from the field as that the front is designed as a rounded shape which is perfect for baseliners that play an east to west game. So this bulbous shape allows more room for that movement. Secondly, the insert is heads and shoulders above the rest of the shoes on the market, as it is firmer and has a built in Gel Pad for added heal support. My only negative is that that the sole will wear down within 2 months if you play like I do, 3-4 times a week. But over all, I give this Babolat shoe high grades and a thumbs up for the serious Baseliner. Fred from Dallas
Babolat SFX Tennis Shoes Review
User: Remo Mazzini, TX
I have been playing tennis for a while and apparently wearing the wrong shoes, I have a wide foot and the shoes i was using were narrow. I also kept bruising my toe causing lots of pain. I thought it was just my aggressive style of playing. One day i decided to go see the shoe guys at at my local Tennis Express store and the guy was so helpful, I told him about my problem and he recommended the SFX Babolats, they were super comfy but the true test was going to be later at the court, I was very excited, I could not wait to try them. So that day at the court, it was like night and day, the shows were so comfortable and really wrapped around the foot giving me the right support, and most importantly, my foot pain disappeared!!!! no more toe bruising, no more pain in the ball of the foot! I truly Love these shoes and thank you for recommending them it was the best thing Ive done for my tennis game Remo
Extremely comfortable shoe!
User: Fernando Aguirre, Puerto Rico
This is the most comfortable tennis shoe money can buy. I have tried many tennis shoes without finding one that suits my needs. I have a condition in my right foot called Mortons Neuroma, which causes a burning and very discomfort sensation in my annular toe when I put any shoe that doesnt have a wide toe area. In summary I have issues with all brand of shoes except, the Babolat SFX. The toe area is wide enough to even put my Thorlo socks with no pain or discomfort whatsoever. It is extremely comfortable, the inner sole has many impact absorption and memory foam layers and this shows the extremes that Babolat went with this shoe. Traction is excellent Michelin sole, weight is light and stability is perfect. At the beginning the shoe feels low in your ankle, and it is, but you get used to it quickly and I think this is the reason that this shoe makes you move fast. The upper part of the toe is on the soft side so your toes dont feel constraint of movement. The best shoe, period!
Nice Shoes, great traction but very wide
User: horacio bustos, Texas
The shoes are great, very nice and well constructed sole, it feels very comfortable. The only issue will be for people that do not have really wide feet this shoe is NOT for you as it will be too big, I have purchased one 1/2 number smaller and added a second sole but stills feels a bit too wide. Otherwise, great
Best fit ever
User: Qayyum Javed, Texas
I can never find shoes that fit my wide feet. But once I tried these shoes on it felt like I was on cloud 9. I have been wearing these for about 1 month now and I am extremely happy with them. Thank you Mr. Salesperson.
Comfortable shoes for toe-jammers
User: Rick Chen, NY
Despite what some people here have wrote, I find the shoe true to size, maybe even slightly longer and definitely lots of extra room in the toe box. This alleviated my problem of bruised middle toe. Comfort is good out of the box, but I am used to Dr. Scholls sport gel inserts, which will give any shoes vastly superior cushioning. Overall I am very happy with these shoes and trying hard to wear it through so I can get the 2nd pair free under warranty :
Favorite tennis shoe to date
User: Danny Wick, Ga
This is my second pair of Babolat SFX. The comfort and durability led me to but a second pair. The only feature that was missing on my first pair was an extra shoe lace hole at the top for added ankle support. Low and behold, the white and blue pair I just bought has that. These shoes have superior court grip, comfort, breathability and dont feel as heavy as other shoes Ive tried. The best part is no break in is required. They are ready to go right out of the box.
User: Samuel Halbert, VI
I have used Babolot shoes before, that is why I purchase a second pair. Love them.
Best tennis shoes I have ever had!
User: Mitch, Georgia
i have got to say, these are the best tennis shoes I have ever worn. My first pair of tennis shoes were the most uncomfortable things that I had ever worn. These shoes feel great! I love wearing them even when Im not playing tennis. The traction I get is great, I hardly ever slide on the court. Overall, the best shoes I have ever worn.
Babolat Mens SFX shoes

Great tennis shoes. Good fit, support & comfort. Good value.
User: Stephen Calandrillo, NJ
These are quite simply the best tennis sneakers I have ever played in. From the minute you put them on, the shoe felt very flexible for great comfort but provides excellent foot and ankle support for even the speediest players. These shoes have a wide toe box which provides a more natural feel when moving laterally on the court. I rely on my speed a lot in my tennis game. These shoes are flexible and light and the soles of these sneakers are the most durable I have ever encountered. Great tennis sneakers!
more wide choices
User: Michael Sato, Idaho
I bought these shoes hoping that the wide toe box would provide a better fit than having to go with a bigger shoe to accomodate my wide feet. With limited choices on wide shoes for tennis, I was pleased to get these shoes and find they fit really well at my normal size. Havent played in them yet but expect like performance to some previous Babolat shoes I have played in which was very good!
User: Jason Delhay, Texas
There is a nice amount of cushion in the base of the shoe, but the strange toe box design made it uncomfortable overall.
User: Atul Pawar, CA
Bought this 2-3 weeks back and till now looks and works very good. Most important feature i liked is toe width. Since my feet are wide I wanted a shoe which can give me enough room in tow box and this shoe is perfect for that. Very good cushioning and support/stability. Sole makes squaky noise but i can live with it. Overall an excellent buy.
User: Teril Smith, TX
This is my new favorite tennis shoe. I have always liked babolot shoes, but had to go away from them because of the narrow toe box. Finally, they have come out with a shoe that I can wear comfortably. This shoe provides better traction and movement than any shoe I have ever worn. They are comfortable and feel really stable during the intense lateral movements of difficult points. I highly recommend this shoe and intend to use this shoe exclusively.
Shoe is Just Right
User: Roger, CO
I read about the shoe in a USTA article that reviewed several types of shoes. The review mentioned comfort and performance and the shoe got high marks from nearly everone. I concurr. The shoe is very comfortable in the ball and heel areas yet still performs well. It fits snugly and loads the weight properly for good action. I would recommend this shoe.
great new shoe from Babolat
User: Ralph Henry, Arkansas
This shoe will compete well with the best from Nike or Adidas. Looks great, feels even better. The toe box is roomy compared to Adidas Barricade. I will buy this shoe again.
