Players seeking maximum control will find it in the Boris Becker London Tour, bearing the name of the city in which Becker himself made seven finals. The smaller 93 square inch head is supplemented by a denser 18x20 string pattern designed with ultimate precision and accuracy in mind. Working in cooperation with parent company, Volkl, and utilizing the research of renowned Fraunhofer Institute, the Becker line implements the unique DeltaCore technology for enhanced performance and stability. DeltaCore utilizes carbon nanotube technology and arranges the tubes into a delta shape, creating a more finely meshed network for a more compact and solid material design. This material is concentrated typically at the sides of the head as well as in the throat area for stability and control. Our testing staff enjoyed the flexible feel and excellent precision, but did feel that the power level was a bit low for many of our staff. We felt that this racquet played well from the baseline, but its niche was really in its ability at net.

Good control with this racquet. It also gave me plenty of plow through ability. Overall not a bad stick.

Not what I expected

I have recently returned to tennis after 20 years on the golf course. Obviously a lot has changed in terms of racquet technology since I have been away so I have been trying as many different racquets as I can looking for the best one for my game. I have a strong forehand, a sliced backhand, a good slice serve and a fair volley. I saw the becker and decided to give it a try. A try was all I needed to realize that this was not the rtacquet for me. I play a strong 3.5/4.0 game and use a great deal of touch in my shots. This is not a touch racquet. Much too stiff for me.

Great Control with the Delta Core London
4.66666666667/5
There is a lot of hype about power in tennis, but for me control is everything. The Becker Delta Core London was a great price on Tennis Express, and since I already play with the Volkl Powerbridge 10, I decided to try a smaller head size with the London. The racket is great, and seems to offer the extra control without sacrificing power. I string the racket with 17 gauge Black Widow on the mains and 17 gauge VS gut on the crosses. Great racket and great deal from Tennis Express!
