Dunlop and long-time international tennis racquet manufacturer Srixon have joined forces to create the Srixon Revo CV 5.0 OS Tennis Racquet. This racquet falls into the 2018 CV Series, which utilizes various technologies to greatly enhance both power and control. Sonic Core Technology utilizes urethane and silicone in the head of the frame to increase dwell time and energy return for power and spin. The new V Energy Shaft II design increases power and stability by optimizing stiffness through its V-shaped cross-section. These are then paired with a Synchro Charge System that takes advantage of a special graphite construction method designed to improve the feel and stability of off-center impacts. To absorb high vibrations, the CV 5.0 OS implements a Heat Convert system that leverages thermal energy conservation technology. Finally, for a larger sweet spot, Srixon and Dunlop have included a Straight String System that expands the effective hitting area of the off center string bed.
One of 3 primary racquets in the 2018 CV Series, the CV 5.0 OS has a head size of 105 square inches, and unstrung weight of 270g (9.5oz). Its length is 27.25 inches, and it makes use of a 16x19 string pattern. Take a look at our Beginners Guide to Buying a Racquet.
