The Gamma Moto 17G string features a new heptagonal shape developed for the high-performance player. The seven-sided construction allows strings to catch the ball more effectively, increasing the amount of spin potential. The co-poly material retains tension well, while providing greater feedback to the player. The higher gauge has the potential to increase feel, and slightly reduce durability.

I play with the Wilson Six.One Team racquet and have the tension at 58lbs. The control and ball pocketing feel allows you to hit out with control. Volleys are easy and I can produce a nice slice serve. Lobs are good and controllable but hard to get a top spin lob with kick when it bounces. I may try stinging at 57lbs to see if that gives me the kick. It looks like this could be my long term string.

Good spin string which has a loyal fan base here with some seniors playing with oversize racquets, but wanting spin. Seems to have pretty good durability in these racquets which is surprising.
