NOTE: DUE TO THE HEAD SIZE OF THIS RACQUET, 2 SETS OF STRINGS ARE REQUIRED.The Bubba is back! Gamma updated its Big Bubba model for the RZR line, creating an aerodynamic masterpiece through the use of RZR Advanced Aerodynamic technology. Of course, the Gamma RZR Bubba still includes the key attributes that made it famous. At 137 square inches, the racquet head is the largest on the market, making the sweet-spot size a tennis player’s dream. Despite its lighter weight (10.4 oz. strung), this frame is relatively stable even on mishits. A well-struck groundstroke or volley explodes off the strings.

Plus, the RZR Bubba gives you the wing span of an albatross on the court. Short angles? No problem! At 29 inches long (two inches longer than regular full size frames), you’ll be able to get a racquet on just about every ball that comes your way. Best for players with shorter strokes looking for a little extra pop on the ball, the RZR Bubba is the ultimate game improvement frame.

Check out our Buyer's Guide for tips on choosing a racquet.

Bubba BIg not Bad
5/5
I just started playing with this RZR Bubba racquet and I absolutely love it. As a beginning player I was initially drawn to this racquet because of its 137 Sq Inches, its 29 inch length and a lighter weight 104 oz strung. I feel that with a light weight racquet and a large head, I have more control and power with my shots. Since using this racquet, I instantly became a better player with longer reach and I feel more in control of my game. I HIGHLY recommend this racquet. It looks big, but plays very well:

As advertised, the racket has a large sweet spot. Just getting the racket in the ball results in a successful shot. It literally is so good, I immediately ordered a second one.

Power and Control
5/5
Surprisingly controllable for a super oversized power racket. Terrific for serve and volleyers....very stable and did not take long to adjust to the extra long length....very manoeverable....the thin beam brings power levels to manageable levels. Very powerful for ground strokes...I love the reach and angles I can achieve versus standard OS rackets. Not overly stiff but elbow sufferers need to think about a soft multi fil or even gut to soften it up due to its long length. I really do believe it has added a dimension to my game....it is not just for game improvers but serious Seniors who need a bit extra zip....its a great racket and a massive improvement versus previous models....well done Gamma

A Seniors Miracle Racquet
4.66666666667/5
As an 81 year old Super Senior tennis afficionado, I believe I have finally found the racquet that best suits my game, and will help me maintain a top five USTA ranking in my age division. After having rotator cuff surgery at 60, and a hip replacement at 76, I have thru physical therapy and consistent cross training fitness workouts, I am back in tip-top physical condition for an 80 year old competitor at the National USTA level. I attribute much of my recent success - Having been a semi-finalist in the Indoor National USTA Chamionships, and a Finalist in the National USTA Clay Court championships -- to the acquisition of my RZR Bubba tennis Racquet. It has given me the extra length to reach the volleys that have eluded me in the past, the reach that allows me hit a harder paced serve, and the larger string surface 137 sq. inches to get to shots and hit with increased power. As this competitive year comes to a close,I am certain to be ranked #3 or #4 in the National USTA 80 and over.
