Good value for the money. Adds top spin to your game. They are a very tough string & I'd suggest using it by itself. I normally play with a hybrid string configuration. When strung with Gamma synthetic gut the gut lasted 9 sets before the it wore out & snapped. Have now strung it on both mains & crosses. We will see how this holds up, but I am happy with the purchase.

This string is as good as RPM Blast for a 1/4 of the cost. I strung it up in my Babolat Aero Storm GT at 49. Stringing it is as easy as stringing PSG. Playability-wise, it rivals a synthetic. It is soft, cups exceptionally well, has good power, and above all else great control. I find it to be one of the best values around right now for string. It has an almost plush feeling that one doesn't associate with polys. A real winner in my opinion.

This is a great co-poly. Strung in my Babolat Pure Control Teams at 44lbs. I was looking for an alternative from RPM for it just goes dead too quickly. Genesis Black Magic does everything well, great pop, great control, good spin production and decent feel. Not as spinny as RPM but it has the edge in other areas and this string lasts! The play is very consistent from hour 2 through hour 12 and beyond. Tremendous value

I have been using poly strings for a few years, now. This string has quickly become my favorite string. One of my biggest frustrations in most strings is tension loss. Black Magic retains tension very well! Not only has it maintained tension, but I absolutely love the feel that this softer poly string gives. My game is to hit big groundstrokes and with this string, I feel very confident in going for my shots.

I have not strung this as full poly but it goes great with Gosen sheep 17g. It retains tension very well for me. Polys usually lose tension after 15 hours of hitting but I have put on 20 or more now and it is still going great. The spin potential of this string is good. Good bite on the ball and I can put whatever spin I want given I have enough time to do so.

Genesis Black Magic Review
5/5
Of the tennis strings I have tried out, this Genesis Black Magic String improved my game and my confidence the most. Black Magic give me the most feel during a tournament and on the practive courts. It allows the ball to drop onto the court with power and precision. I strongly recommend this string to a tennis player at any level who wants to improve their game.

This arm friendly poly packs some serious playability. Spin is outstanding. Touch is no slouch either. If you are looking for black string that is a great price with outstanding performance this is the string!! 5 percent tension reduction really hits the spot. One thing I found odd...I bough a reel and paid $89.90 and the label on the reel had a suggested retail price of $84.90 hmmmm. 5.0 male all court player using Head Microgel MP strung at 57 pounds CP big hitter blue rough17.

Black Magic is a great alternative to RPM. Many of the folks I string for love RPM mainly the color, but dont like the price. I substituted Black Magic with one of my customers and he couldnt tell any difference he plays 5.0. Black Magic is comfortable, retains tension well, plays good until it breaks and is pretty durable. All in all, its a great string, just make sure to watch your tension.

Ive gone through so many sets of different string before I fell in love with this, its a more powerful but a bit less spin RPM Blast. Lasts longer and softer feel. Tension maintenance is great, easy to string for self stringers. Its one of those strings that play great freshly strung and even better after a couple hours of break-in. Best bang for my buck Ive gotten for strings.

Black Magic is the first poly string that Im comfortable playing with 100% of the time in my own racquets. Im a 60 year old 4.5 player who likes a soft feel on my string be. Rarely as a stringer have I found poly strings that werent stiff as a board and have little playability or feel. Black Magic is not only durable but plays much softer and has the feel that I look for in multifilaments and nylon strings. Ive put 100% Black Diamond in my racquets and I also have put the Black Diamond as my mains and a soft multifilament for my crosses. Ive been pleased with both results. Im sold on Genesis as my main poly from this point on.
