This is HANDS DOWN the best co-poly available today, theres no questions about it, even by itself its so soft, yet theres so much pop on the ball. Putting balls away at the baseline has never been so smooth and solid. Ive used several co-polys and polys before, and I can say confidently that Genesis Black Magic is the best ive used so far.
Very Nice String
This string is very good. I have tried many different types of polys out there and would have to say this one is among the top 3 out there. Great comfort and feel with good control and spin.
Very nice and soft
This is my new favorite string of choice. This string does everything I need in my game from spin to feel and comfort.
If you have not tried it out yet, you are missing out!
Cheaper than RPM Blast but not as good
I strung two of my identical racquets at 60 lbs. One with Black Magic 16g and one with RPM Blast 16g. Two observations. First, the Black Magic really stretched as I strung. I wondered as I strung the racquet about durability because it stretched so much. Second, I hit with both racquets. I'm a 4.5 and so did my buddy a 5.0. We both noticed that the RPM Blast produced a lot more spin. I haven't had the Black Magic long enough to know how it lasts. A different friend let me know he broke the Black Magic very quickly, but I dont know that personally. RPM doesn't break. Ever. And it holds its tension. The price of the Black Magic is much, much lower than RPM Blast. But I'm not sure which is cheaper when you take into account the durability. I do think it's not as simple as looking at the price.
Good String Overall
I liked this string a lot in my Youtek Speed racquet. Good power and pop and maintains tension very well. When you consider the price, its a no-brainer!
Pretty good poly!
I didnt mind this string too much in a hybrid with thunder blast, but It started dying and became very mushy after a while. I liked the spin and power I got from it, and at first it played amazingly. I like the price, but I think Im going to keep looking for the perfect set up in my IG Speed MP
Genesis Black Magic
I replaced RPM Blast in my Radical MP with Genesis Black Magic strung at 52lbs. Black Magic strings very easy with no kinking, coil memory, and is very easy to weave. It is an elastic, soft feeling string but easily handles grommets etc.
The first thing I noticed hitting was comfort on groundstrokes, touch on volleys, and nice control on serves. Ive got around 15 hours of hitting on the strings and playability has held up very well with very little notching. I am 46 and most of my hitting is as a hitting partner for a state level junior player in Texas.
Comfort, tension maintenance, and spin are important to me and Genesis Black Magic is providing all of that. I plan to keep it on hand as a go to string for me.
The strings were what we use, came right away and competitively priced. SO I will continue to order.
Wow, this is a great string. From the stringing side of it to the playing side of it, it is a great string. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality string.
Very good poly
Tried this string and compared to other similar strings out there and this one blows it away from every angle. Amazing feel and comfort here. And great price!!
Soft and Comfortable
Great poly if you want feel, power and comfort.. Definately among the best for value and feel..
Black Magic String
Black Magic string plays as well as the comparable string for other manufacturers who charge several dollars more.
It plays best when it is strung a bit tighter than usual, 52 instead of 50. Also, it does not break as easily as my previous strings.
Genesis is a great string for the money.
Ive had the strings for about 2 months now and they hit great. So far so good. I wanted something with a little more power and spin.
Great strings, fast delivery.
