Description

Players looking for a racquet that produces great power and spin without sacrificing control will enjoy the Genesis Thunder Power. The 100 square inch head size provides a large sweet spot for contact without sacrificing maneuverability. The Toray Carbon Fiber construction provides a crisp feel on contact along with excellent control. The variable 23.5-26-23.5 beam width ensures there is plenty of power on tap, while the thinner beam at the throat provides players with additional control for the ability to swing confidently. The 10.93 ounce (unstrung) weight and solid 337 swing weight provide plenty of mass for hitting a penetrating ball while still remaining maneuverable. The frame provides excellent feel at the net for touch volleys. The head light balance also allows the racquet to be quickly maneuvered into position for rapid exchanges at the net. The 16x19 string pattern gives players easy access to spin on both ground strokes and serves while also maintaining excellent control over the ball. The racquet utilizes a unique construction of a single mold from grip handle to the head of the racquet. This single piece construction imparts an exceptionally solid feel and reduces impact shock to the player, providing increased comfort. The Genesis Thunder Power is an excellent fit for aggressive players that need power and spin to dictate play from anywhere on court.

Amazing racquet
5/5
Whenever I looked at the racquet read the reviews and looked at the videos I knew this was going to be a good racquet, but I was blown away when I played with it! The racquet promised comfort, spin, power, and control and it delivered on everything. I have played with other racquets promising just as much but none have come close to the racquet I am playing with now. The lighter head allowed for me to fully take control of volleys and the narrow throat gave me amazing control. My wrist tends to become sore after playing with my old racquets but with this one I was able to swing hard and barely feel anything. On returns I was able to put them deep and just like forehands the spin automatically came off the racquet. My strokes are usual flat and powerful but this one gave me spin and power. On bank hands this racquet really impressed me from the beginning on off center hits it stayed firm and forgiving. This racquet gave me the confidence and capability to play my best tennis!
