FILA has taken serious strides in the performance footwear department in recent years. They currently sponsor a number of ATP and WTA pros, such as Marin CilicJohn Isner, Karolina PliskovaTimea Babos, and others.

Current FILA tennis shoe technologies include:

Breathable Quarter, Energized Rubber®, and Molded Forefoot Cage.

Breathable Quarter

FILA's Breathable Quarter is an upper construction that features lightweight and breathable mesh to encourage ventilation and comfort. It's often fortified by other FILA technologies, such as their Molded Forefoot Cage.

Energized Rubber®

FILA's Energized Rubber® is an advanced midsole technology specifically engineered to provide enhanced shock absorption and bounce back. This low impact transfer of energy results in greater responsiveness, and a more explosive feel.

Molded Forefoot Cage

FILA's Molded Forefoot Cage wraps over the standard mesh upper to provide additional support and durability. The crossing pattern allows air to circulate through the underlying mesh, which means athletes do not need to worry about inhibited ventilation. The end result is a breathable, lightweight support system in the forefoot that enables quick changes in direction.
