VICHT Tennis is a new signature tennis and athletic program at GTAC bringing VICHT and Peter Lundgren together. This features special camps, sport specific improvement projects, events and exhibitions.
Peter Lundgren –At the end of the 1985 season Lundgren finished at number 27 in the world. In the process he won his first title in Cologne as a qualifier. Lundgren's best ranking was 23rd in the world. Lundgren first made a name for himself as a coach when he took Marcelo Rios into the top 10. After that he was working for Roger Federer they worked together from 2000 to end of 2003. Lundgren then took over coaching Marat Safin and guided him to the 2005 Australian Open championships. He has also coached Marcelo Baghdatis, Grigor Dimitrov, and Stanislas Wawrinka.
Niclas Kroon – Niclas is a former ATP Tour professional who played on the Tour from 1986 through 1996. He achieved his career-high ranking of #46 in the world in 1989, after winning a ATP title in Brisbane, Australia. Niclas played in the main draw of all the Grand Slam tournaments, where his best results were round-of-16 at the French Open and 3rd round at both Wimbledon and the Australian Open. In addition to teaching at the club level, he has worked with numerous junior, college and professional players. Niclas is a co-founder and board member of Galleria Tennis and Athletic Club, LLC.
Ville Jansson – Ville has 22 years of experience in the private club industry. He has served in the capacities of tennis professional, tennis director, and sports club manager. He spent 11 years with Club Corp at some of the most active and prestigious clubs in the country. Ville is a co-founder and board member of Galleria Tennis and Athletic Club, LLC. As a tennis player Ville won ten professional titles, division one All-American honors in both singles and doubles and three Swedish Junior Championships.
Johan Kjellsten – Johan finished up his collegiate career as an All-American playing #1 at LSU and was the first player in LSU history to win a Collegiate Grand Slam, the NCAA Clay Court Championship. Ranked as NCAA #3. Winner of 4 professional tour events. Johan holds an MBA in finance and has over 25 years of experience working in the international tennis industry with companies such as Advantage, Nike, ATP, and USTA. He has worked as a player agent for several Top 10 players in world, as global talent promotions manager for Nike and as director of PR/communications with the ATP in Monte Carlo.
