At 11 years old, he finished runner-up in the boys under 12 category at the prestigious Junior Orange Bowl and was the junior world number 2 when he was 13 years old. In 2004, he partnered his younger brother Andy reaching the Junior Boys' US Open Doubles Semi-Finals. In 2007 at a last minute decision he partnered with Jelena Jankovic at Wimbledon and won the Mixed Doubles title. He wouldn't see much more success until 2016 when partnered with John Peers winning the 2016 Australian Open and US Open Doubles titles as well reaching the Semi-finals of the ATP Tour Finals and ending the year ranked No. 1 in doubles. He continued his success the following years capturing 4 more Mixed Doubles Grand Slam titles. He's a big fan of pro wrestling, golf and soccer. In 2010 he married his wife, Alejandra, in Scotland and his brother was his best man.
