Laslo Djere was born June 2, 1995 in Senta Serbia and is a member of the Hungarian community in Serbia. He gained a love for tennis from his father Csaba and has always been close with his little sister Judit. At the age of 16 he lost his mother Hajnalka to colon cancer, during these years he made five ATP Challenger Tour finals and earned his first challenger title jumping his ranking nearly 100 spots. Then lost his father to colon cancer at age 23 two months after his death, Laslo won his first ATP Tour title in Rio. He also enjoys baking in his free time thanks to his grandma who taught him when he was younger and says his parent are the ones who made him who he is today.
