Luxilon 4G has been heralded since its introduction for 2 things: its extraordinary tension maintenance and control. For 2013, 4G is being introduced in a thicker gauge intended specifically for Wilson’s new Spin Effect racquets - 4GS. A 15 gauge (1.41mm) size will provide the extra durability open patterns need, while still giving Spin Effect racquet players the legendary 4G performance. Aggressive baseline topspin players with open-pattern frames should find Luxilon 4GS to fit all their needs.

Construction: Monofilament Co-Polymer

Gauge: 1.41mm/15

Length: 12.2m/40’

Color: Beige

IMPRESSED !!!
5/5
I have my own stringing machine and I play 2 or 3 times a week. Other strings I have tried do not come close to this string. It has it all....power..feel...and I dont have to restring as often because of its great durability.

Very durable!
5/5
I have the Wilson Steam 99s and the strings on it do not last very long, but because of wilsons release of the 4GS string I tried it out and it definitely is more durable than any other string I have used so far! Produces great spin and power! Overall a great string!

4 G strings
4.66666666667/5
My grandson played with the Black Savage, but wouldd only get a week to ten days out of that 16 G string. We went to the 4 G 15 G string, which last a lot longer, but doesw not have the same spin as the Black Savage. Wish they would make the Black Savage in a 15 g string. He is going on three weeks of use with the 4 G string. He did not use the 4-G strings on the steam racket, but another Wilson racket.

Awesome strings!
5/5
If you hit a heavy ball with substantial topspin and are a string breaker, then there is no better string for you than the Luxillon 4GS. My son could not get through a weekend tournament with his Wilson 99S racquet without breaking a string prior to using these strings. Now he carries a minimum of three strung racquets in his bag and never worries about a catastrophe!

Best for Wilson Steam 105S
4.33333333333/5
Keep in mind that this string was designed by Luxilon specifically for ain cooperation with Wilson for their Steam 105S. I strung two of my 105S with it because the other 16G poly strings for ex Prince Beast XP lasted less than 2 weeks. This one, 15G, should be much stronger to last longer, while amplifying the topspin. I decided also to string it at 64lbs, near the top of the range, and apply the string savers densely all around the middle of the head. Playability so far seems great! Of course, after time I expect it to go down. I do my own stringing, so one big difference between this and other strings that I used is how hard it is on your fingers. This string feels like a piece of wire and is prone to deforming easily if youre not careful.
