The all new liquid crystalline polymer string, Luxilon Savage White 127 offers enhanced control and spin over the professional tour favorite, ALU Power. Featuring a hexagonal cross section, this string bites the ball well for hard hitters wanting extreme topspin. The liquid crystalline polymer construction helps this string react best in the hands of strong players looking for excellent control. Savage White 127 plays in between the ALU Power and the Big Banger Original in terms of stiffness, while offering the greatest spin of any Luxilon string. Our playtesters felt that this string outperformed Babolat's RPM Blast in terms of spin generation and had a softer feel. They appreciated the control they were getting from the baseline and felt they could swing out without fear and dictate play. Recommended especially for strong, heavy topspin baseliners seeking a durable, control string that will generate even greater spin.

Luxilon Savage-Great String!

I used to use Luxilon Big Banger Ace; I used it for several years, and eventually developed elbow pain. Switched to a softer string but was not happy with its performance. Cured my elbow pain, though! Anyway, to make a long story short, I recently tried Luxilon Savage, stringing it in my Dunlop 600 Aerogel at 60 lbs. I know, this is on the high side. Result=terrific control and spin, excellent feel and touch, great power and NO arm pain. I hit with lots of topspin and slice. Most of my shots land deep when I want them to, short when I want, and I can easily flatten my shots out for winners with control. This is a terrific string, highly recommended. Im at the higher end of 3.5. Thank you, Luxilon!

Luxilon Savage-Great String!

I'll make this review short and sweet. Luxilon Savage is the best combination of control and touch I've ever experienced in a string. I string it in my Dunlop 600 at 60 lbs. No elbow pain, terrific control, wonderful feel at the net. This string will generate as much spin as you want to hit with! I love it. Highly recommended.

savage white tennis strings

Purchased these strings for my grandson prior to district games. He would not use anything else. They give him plenty of power and durability. By the way he and his sister placed 1st at District and third at Regionals.

Pretty Good but...

Since I am on a high school team and play tournaments on my own time I practice ALOT on my own time, and these strings fit just right. Although with the tension i use, 66, they seemed to be a bit too much at some points, as long as i controlled my swing speed, the strings were just fine. They lasted a month, and thats pretty good for a guy who usually breaks strings in two weeks, sometimes less. So yeah, if you are looking for control and spin, this would certainly be the string for you, just make sure your tension isnt THAT high.
