Description

MSV Focus Hex 1.23 is an incredibly popular choice among players seeking the ultimate spin and control from a poly-based string. It`s hexagonal form allows players to generate the kind of spin you could only dream of! This poly-based string offers solid tension maintenance and long lasting performance. In addition to spin and its ability to hold playability, this string is also extremely comfortable. German lab tests have shown it to be superior to leading brands in the categories of elongation and elasticity. This leads to added comfort, power and all-around solid performance. This thinner gauge poly will have slightly better feel, but a little less durability compared to the 16G version.

Composition: Co-Polyester Monofilament With Hexagonal Profile

Color: White

Gauge: 16L (1.23 mm)

Length: 40' (12.2 m)

MSV Focus Hex 1.23mm

I compare the MSV Focus Hex 1.23 to Luxilon BB Power Rough 16L 1.25mm. MSV is stiffer. MSV bites the ball better more spin but somehow I lost some control, sometimes the ball just flies out. I dont get the same degree of consistency as I played with Luxilon BB Power Rough. Both strings MSV Focus Hex and BB Power Rough hold in position very well. But after a match the MSV string on the main started to move out of shape more than BB Power Rough does this is a relative comparison between these two. Its a good string but Id probably stay with BB Luxilon Power for the consistency and less movement. Both strings are considered as top performance strings.

MSV Focus Hex 123 string

MSV Focus Hex is spin friendly. But I would rate it a bit below Signum Pro Tornado and Luxilon BB Power Rough on the 1tension stability 2 arm friendly. This is a relative comparison amongst these 3 strings I played in the past year. MSV Focus Hex is a bit stiffer and its main string does not come back to position after 4 hours of play. The Tornado and Power Rough strings stay in position longer for about 8 hours for my play. But this MSV is cheaper. Im a 4.0 base line player.
