Note: These shoes can be tricky to put on the first few times, but are true to size once on.
Nike Women`s Air Zoom Zero Tennis Shoes are engineered to deliver exceptional responsiveness and court feel. They feature a few key innovations to achieve this, such as the first full-length Zoom Air unit in NikeCourt history. Overall, the Zoom Zero offers competitive tennis players a great balance between adaptive performance, durability, and stability.
Upper: One-piece textile is soft on the inside and tough on the outside. It forms to the shape of your foot as a "second skin", and houses Gilly straps on the medial and lateral sides that integrate with the laces for a secure fit. The 1/2 bootie is responsive, breathable, and comfortable. A durable pull tab on the tongue helps with getting the shoe on. Rubber and outsole material wrap over the toe for increased protection. Debossed nubuk on the heel adds style.
Midsole: The Zoom Zero features the first full-length Zoom Air unit in NikeCourt history. Its contours are designed to make explosive movements more efficient. The rear of the unit is placed directly beneath the heel, and above the midsole, for added cushioning during heel strikes. The front of the unit is top loaded and placed closer to the ground, beneath the midsole, to enhance responsiveness in the forefoot. Extra padding in the heel makes for even more comfortable performance.
Outsole: A crash pad is utilized to promote a smooth heel-to-toe transition. Patterns and grooves in the outsole improve stability and traction during hard cuts and agile movements. The middle of the outsole is cored out to reduce weight and show off the full-length Zoom Air unit.
