Not your average tweener, the Pacific X-Fast Pro looks unassuming that hides its true performance advantages. Taking advantage of BasaltX technology, this frame remains stable and comfortable without being overly heavy or difficult to maneuver. In fact, the X-Fast Pro is deadly serious in its name, it is extremely fast whether you stay at the baseline or move into the net and end points quickly. The low swingweight makes this one of the quickest frames out there, especially in the tweener category. At 100 square inches and 10.6 ounces unstrung, it may look like the typical frame, but its speed and versatility are unmatched. Our testers found plenty to like for all styles of play, from the easy spin access on ground strokes to laser-like precision on quick volleys.

String is important
4/5
I have the X Force sticks from Pacific and just love them - I have the weight bumped up to 11.5 oz with a little lead tape and to me they have the best feel in tennis. I string for a bunch of players so I have an chance to hit LOTS of racquets - Pacific always wins out. I purchased this one just to try their faster, spinnier stick as my X Forces are looking a little beat up. At first I was not happy - it felt odd, kinda loose and clunky. Plus I hit a flatter shot and from everything Ive heard that is not the forte of this stick. Polys in the mains & all sorts of multis/syn guts in the crosses; they all sucked - lots of really long balls and a feel I would describe as less than solid. I kept stringing it with different combinations and tensions and still no luck. Full polys make my arm weary so that was not an option. Then I tried Isospeed Control + Arm 60# in the mains and a cheap trashy 17 poly in the crosses 55#. Bingo. Feel, touch, and topspin like Ive never seen before.

This frame is a nice tweener frame. Not too heavy and has a nice feel to it. It will be best suited for 4.0 and above players. Both baseliners and all court players will find this racquet appealing. Groundstrokes are good as well as serves and volleys. Many players fo different abilities and styles will like this frame. Demo and check it out...:

Best in 40 Years!
5/5
There are almost 20 tennis racquets sitting in my sports closet collected over 40 years but after hitting with the Pacific X-Fast Pro for 2 hours using a ball machine, I would trade them all for 1 of these. The power was massive with absolutely no loss of control: amazing. One shot after another: solid as a rock! If you need a new stick, be sure to demo this one! PS-Strings do make a difference. Mine is strung 2 pounds below the minimum with rough edged poly strings.

Light, maneuverable, powerful, great spin potential. Not as stiff as a Pure Drive, alot eaiser on the arm, but plays a lot like it. Good feel on the ball, does not feel hollow. Put some poly strings on it at a low tension 48/44 and again at 46/43 and had a good aount of pop, even with the low powered string, and still had good control on it. Great on the serve! Best serving racquet I have ever used. Pacific racquets are really underestimated
