Though she was born in Toronto, at age two her parents relocated to Bromley, south of London. She began playing tennis at age 5, and just recently turned pro in 2018. Raducanu plays an aggressive baseline game, centered around her world class forehand. She has shown a comfort level on some of the world's largest tennis courts, making the 4th round at Wimbledon and the quarterfinals of the US Open in 2021. Raducanu's best weapon may be the way she glides around the court. She labels hard courts as her favorite surface.
