Have used these with my nine year old daughter. Helps us rally longer and makes it more fun for her. They are great.

My kids are 9 years old, so we had to deal with the huge changes of 10 and under tennis. First I bought some diffrent kind of green balls and practiced for while. But after my kids played at the USTA tournament, we knew that they used the Penn green balls with a dot for the 10 under tournaments for satellite and open. I orderd this package right away. Now its so wonderful for them and we are ready for another match of USTA tournament. No more old yellow balls! Youve got to use these balls.

My boys have graduated from the low compression balls and we needed the next step for our play on outside courts. These Penn Control Plus have performed great and look to have a long life.

I played half a match with these balls last week, then switched back to regular balls. Im a returning player and am working on controlling shots a bit better. The reduction in power these balls had gave me more confidence in hitting solid shots and following thru properly. I was no longer hitting the in the net or too long. When I switched back to regular balls, I felt more confidence and hit quite a few better shots. Serving took a bit more effort also they were a great aiming and training aid but I wouldnt serve too much with these balls, since they took more force to hit properly. After a few serves, the regular balls felt great to hit. Overall, these were a great training aid for me. I also enjoy using them when laying with my Junior Kids. Keeps my shots toned down a bit so they can return a few more of them.

These balls are perfect to hit some balls with your u10 player.
