A user-friendly version introduction to the line, the new Prince EXO3 Rebel 98 combines impressive control with a soft feel and surprising power. Weighing in at a standard tweener weight of 10.6 ounces unstrung, this racquet features a control oriented beam and head light balance, providing solid stability from the baseline. The bright yellow paint scheme of the EXO3 Rebel 98 is accented by the contrasting color of the new string suspension inserts that feature a thermoplastic additive designed to reduce vibration for improved comfort. Unique to the previous Rebel line, this racquet features a 16x20 string pattern which will offer a bit of extra spin on ground strokes, making this a great option for aggressive baseline players. Our testers found that overall this racquet provided a large enough sweet spot and enough mass to excel for hard hitting topspin baseliners.

Note: Prince does not provide a cover with this racquet. Please check out our complete selection of Prince Bag.

Ive been a Prince Tour user for the past 7 years currently using the OZone Prince Tour and was keen to demo the EXO3 Tour after reading all of the reviews. But I tried this Rebel 98 instead and have to admit liked it a lot more than I was hoping I would. My groundstrokes were immediately more penetrating and had more bite. This racquet proved easier to whip through the air and I was threading the needle on every passing shot and was comfortable trusting the depth on my groundstrokes when grinding the baseline rallies. Slice too was excellent. Volleys are very crisp and were as forgiving as all EXO racquets are. However the lack of weight did not provide the same plough through could disappointed people that really love driving their volleys. The EXO3 technology made this racquet very comfortable and I would recommend a trial for anyone who has enjoyed hitting with the Wilson Blades but want something with a bit more grunt and a lot more comfort.

I got this racquet before it came out. During one of the Prince Reps came to Tulsa and I ordered a lot of them. So far I have been playing with it for a couple of months now and I have to say it is one of the best racquets ever. Very happy with it. I switched from Pure Drive. I like it much better than the Pure Drive

A very nice overall racquet. The Exo3 technology gives every hit a good feel. One thing to complain about is how the energy channels gloss or chrome gets rubbed off easily. Other than that this is currently my favorite racquet.

I actually didnt like prince until one of the store people said that this is in your spec range and its a really good racquet, so i decided to give it a try and im super glad that i did. So far with this racquet, i completely SMOKED my friends, the serve that i lost in the winter came back, and i feel very comfortable in hitting winners with any stroke. If you dont like prince, you should give it a chance, you will be satisfied in what you have found.

Excelence option

When I bought my first EX03 Rebel 98 I wasnt sure if this was the correct racquet for me, my prior racquet was a Head Radical Midplus and was looking for a stick with similar characteristics but a little heavier. After a few hours of hitting I felt that my forehand improved a lot, especially from the baseline. Recently I purchased my second racquet that came with the Babolat RPM 16 string and the comfort is much better.

Great Baseline Racket
4/5
I love the balance and overall feel of this racket. My ground strokes were smooth and easy as soon as I started using it. The head is a bit smaller than all of the oversized rackets Ive used over the years, so net game takes some time to adjust. Overall though, a really comfortable and well made frame.
