Description

One would expect nothing less than incredible spin from a string called Pro Supex Ultra Spin 1.23mm and they would be right. Featuring an eight sided construction, this string is axially twisted to produce a roughened texture for even greater ball bite. Borrowing the original formulation for Blue Gear, Ultra Spin uses a unique additive to produce a softer feel and actually improve the already excellent tension maintenance. Designed with spin in mind, our playtesters found that this string gave a larger sweet spot and more comfortable feel in addition to the extra spin.

Construction: Extruded monofilament co-polyester
Gauge: 1.23mm
Color: Blue

If you have tennis elbow problem this is great for you. I was surprised how soft this string is. Theres only one string that i used before, cause i thought it was soft and durable thats the babolat pro hurricane. After i used this string i will definitely stay with this string its not only good for my elbow it has good spin and power, also great for volley. Reuel

Excellent spin and wear, reasonable price

I like to use a poly string with good spin. I am not someone that wants to restring my racquet every couple of days so I like a string that maintains both its tension and spin for a reasonable time. I just ordered 4 more sets of these after trying them on each of my different racquets. I have tried the Babalot and Luxilon spin strings as well as quite a few others. For a reasonable price the Vokyl Cyclones were good, the Technifiber Black Codes were my favorite until I tried these. These give more spin and hold up well. It is slightly harder to flatten out the shot with these with the same power but the control and feel is good and the extra spin is very noticeable. For now Im going to use these. I will be stringing a friends racquet with them also, after seeing them he also wants to try them.

Recently started using these instead of my last favorite, the Technifiber Black Code. I try a lot of spin strings, for consistency and really good spin generation these are very good. I think they give up a little bit of power for flat shots in return but instead you can really power through the ball and take advantage of the spin. They take a little bit of time on the court to adjust but they hold their tension well and really add great spin. Like all Poly I string them lower than the racquet mid-range, that adds much of the pop back anyway for the flat shots. Overall excellent string if youre looking for spin.

Pro Supex Ultra Spin
4/5
Pro Supex Ultra Spin looks like a twisted version of its sibling Blue Gear. I found no difference in playability between these two. The gear edge does not look like the picture shown on the package. The picture is way too exaggerated. It also plays like Volkl Cyclone. It had good spin when its new. As you play the gear wears down and become smoother and smoother when it may be the time to replace if its still not broken. Overall its a good spin string worth to try.
