The New Balance Women`s FuelCell 996v4.5 Tennis Shoes continue the impressive performance tradition of the 996v4, but with a focus on sustainability. This update is all about helping those with the fastest footwork in the game move even faster. The shoe utilizes New Balance`s most propulsive performance foam to date: FuelCell. The shoe is lighter and sits closer to the court to help you stay on balance and in complete control. New Balance upgraded the shoe's upper with undyed HypoKnit which uses the material in it's original unaltered color. Dope-Dying is a process used is some areas of the upper, but it doesn't waste any water and the color will hold up better to tough UV conditions. The 996v4.5 has a more aggressive logo design and the entire cosmetic matches the on court style of NB star Coco Gauff!

Upper: Synthetic mesh with Undyed and partially Dope Dyed Hypoknit combine for a lightweight, breathable, and supportive experience tailored specifically for tennis players. A traditional tongue features `wings` to keep you locked in place (essentially a half sleeve). A PU Medial Guard provides protection around the toe.

Insole: An Ortholite Insert ensures underfoot comfort and security.

Midsole: FuelCell technology runs through the full length of the shoe, and offers the brand`s highest energy return and propulsion to date. A top-loaded shank ensures torsional stability.

Outsole: The non-marking, NDurance rubber compound enhances durability in high-wear areas of the shoe. LWSR replaces NDurance in low-wear areas, allowing for full-ground contact with weight reduction. The FuelCell 996v4.5 features an 8mm heel-to-toe drop.
