Svetlana Aleksandrovna Kuznetsova is a Russian tennis player and the daughter of Alexandr Kuznetsov, the cycling coach of six Olympic champions and world champions. Her mother, Galina Tsareve is a six-time world champion cyclist, and her brother, Nikolai, is an Olympic medalist in cycling also. Unlike her family, she never really showed interest in cycling, but loved tennis and began playing tennis at age 7. She liked watching tennis from an early age watching players like Marcelo Rios, and hall-of-famer Yevgeny Kafelnikov. She has appeared in 4 Grand Slam Singles finals, and 7 Grand Slam Doubles finals over the course of her career. She became the third Russian woman in history to win a Grand Slam Singles title when she won the US Open in 2004, and in 2009 she won her second title at the French Open. Svetlana also helped the Russian team win three Fed Cup titles in 2004, 2007, and 2008. Her favorite movies are Love Actually and Save the Last Dance.
