Tecnifibre Pro Red Code 17G is one of the most well rounded polyesters on the market. The feel at contact is crisp, with easy access to spin and a surprising level of comfort. Pro Red Code is more comfortable than your average co-polyester string.

Good control/power/durability

Good for heavy hitters

I had the 17 gauge pro red code strung at 51 pounds of tension on both my main and cross. My racquet of choice is the Head Youtek Speed Pro Not IG. These strings feel pretty good for me and it is very easy to generate spin and control. The strings make it very easy to slice and the 17 gauge definitely gives a decent feel for each ball. I think these strings are very good for heavy hitters like myself, because it definitely dumbs down the power for slower swings. If you want excellent control, go for the pro red code.

Ive tried many strings with many different brands and this is by far the best pair of strings I have ever tried. It gives power, control, and amazing amount of spin. It feels crisp and clean; it also dampens shock very well even without a shock absorber!

Great string for the money

I bought the string because it was on sale, never tried it before. I am quite pleased and would buy it again. I love how exact the string tension seems to be across the entire frame and how it holds the tension. Also, the strings dont move around much, they stay in place. Great spin, and good power. Overall, I give them a 9/10.

Best Overall Performance

I keep coming back to the Pro Red Code - it simply is the best string for durability without giving up playability. I tried to replace the Pro Red Code not a fan of red strings with approximately 10 different strings, but none of them can match the performance.
