Now available in Red, Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 17 Rouge provides more spin and power than its 16 gauge counterpart. The ultimate in synthetic strings, providing the closest playability to natural gut of any synthetic string produced, giving players maximum power, feel, and comfort. Elastyl Fibers are used, giving 12% more power than the standard polyamide materials used in other synthetic strings. X-One Biphase features a unique technology that separates it from other strings in the Tecnifibre line, Fiber H2C, which involves a high temperature prestretching step to ensure greater tension maintenance. Improving on their PU Inside technology, this string features Trimerized PU, allowing for even more comfort and touch for that natural gut like feel. Many years of research have led to the Biphase process, a production process that increases string durability by 20%, letting players experience the benefits of this string for even longer. The most advanced synthetic string on the market, X-One Biphase makes the playability of natural gut available in a synthetic alternative. Also check out the line of Tour-developed Tecnifibre racquets.

Construction: Multifilament polyamide
Color: Red
Gauge: 1.24mm

Ive used Technifibre off and on since its inception with satisfaction until now. I currently have this string with Luxilon in a hybrid and I cant wait to break this set.

I love these strings!!! After months and months of searching for that perfect combination of comfort, control and power I have found what I was looking for. The Tecnifibre X-One strings remind me of the gut I used to play with as a junior. They have amazing feel, are easy on the arm and help generate that power you need for those booming winners. They will leaving you to say Oh Yeah after every point!!!

Good string

I am just getting back into tennis after a long spell. I bought a set of Technifibre X-One Biphase to compare its feel and longevity with Wilson NXT-17. I love the Wilson sting. It has a crisp feel. But, it frays quickly and seems to lose tension as it frays. Installing the Biphase was a breeze- it is a soft, supple string with little coil memory. I did somehow manage to injure the last main- the string coating split. I dont know how that happened because the clamps were set correctly and the string was never kinked. I wonder if it was just defective from the factory Ive played a few times with the Biphase string and in my opinion it is not as crisp feeling as the NXT. But, control and power are good and Ill see how the longevity is before I make a switch to Biphase as my string of choice.

Killer string

I love this string. I have been battling tennis elbow for the last year. I wanted something that would be good in helping remedy that problem. The X-One is super soft and is easy on my elbow. Plus it looks awesome in the racquet. I highly recommend.

Great feel

I am old player and need strings that do not abuse my arm. Previously I hit with a generic synthetic momofilament nylon for its durability and low cost. These strings are significantly superior in feel, control and comfort. The two factors that I find wanting are durability and cost. But the price is worth it for the performance it gives.

This string is probably the only string that comes closest to natural gut. 1.24 is better in spin, control, and power than 1.30 gauge.

Best multifilament
5/5
This is the best multi Ive played with. It is the most comfortable string of any kind Ive played with. It feels so soft upon impact - I would highly recommend for anyone with arm troubles. Also, very powerful. The price tag is high, but in this case you get what you pay for. I definitely prefer it to NRG2 which is only slightly cheaper. This one is worth the extra cash.

X one biphase
5/5
Ive tried many other non-poly strings and this is the one I keep coming back to. Every now and again I try a new, or a cheaper string, and nothing else Ive tried is as good. It is the most comfortable, most powerful string Ive used. It has great bite, maintains tension well and lasts. Im a 4.0-4,5 doubles player and I string my Youtek Speed at 59lbs.

X-ONE IS XCELLENT'!'

I have been using Technifibre strings for several years with complete satisfaction. Recently, I had the X-1 BIPHASE in the Crosses58lbs blended with the Black Code54lbs in the Mains in my Babolat Pure Control. The advanced pocketing effect and the added control has been amazing. Techifibre is truly a leader in string technology. I have played for 2 weeks solid with this hybrid blend to complete satisfaction with no string movement. Deeper penetration from the basline with soft touch control around the net. X-1 BIPHASE'/'Black Code works well for heavy baseliners. Fred from Dallas...

I ordered the string for my son. He really likes the response he gets from this string but with his topspin and how hard he hits he breaks strings way to often and I cant afford to keep buying this string so We will be switching to babalet rpm blast. One thing I would like to see is a discount if you order a certain amount at one time. Other than that I enjoy shopping at tennis express

Strings Dont last
2.33333333333/5
All, Stings lasted three days of 2.5 hours of hitting. They did not just cut one area, they cut many strings in the middle so it was not a bad string job. I string at about 54 pounds in a Babolat Pure Storm. They did move a lot so maybe tighter stringing might help. While playing I did love the spongy feel. They definitely are worth it if you have arm problems or like that sling-shot affect. The ball really pocketed on shots - so from that standpoint I really did like the stings. I have played with Babolat Xcel and it is very similar and they last longer. I am experimenting with many strings. Good hitting'!'
