Description

Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 16 is the ultimate in synthetic strings providing the closest playability to natural gut of any synthetic string produced, giving players maximum power, feel, and comfort. Elastyl Fibers are used, giving 12% more power than the standard polyamide materials used in other synthetic strings. X-One Biphase features a unique technology that separates it from other strings in the Tecnifibre line, Fiber H2C, which involves a high temperature prestretching step to ensure greater tension maintenance. Improving on their PU Inside technology, this string features Trimerized PU, allowing for even more comfort and touch for that natural gut like feel.  Many years of research have led to the Biphase process, a production process that increases string durability by 20%, letting players experience the benefits of this string for even longer.  The most advanced synthetic string on the market, X-One Biphase makes the playability of natural gut available in a synthetic alternative.  Also check out the line of Tour-developed Tecnifibre racquets.

Tecnifibre X-ONE Biphase String, 16 Gauge
5/5
A friend recommended this string to me for my severe tennis elbow and it has been excellent. I tried many different types of strings to find one that would help my elbow problem. This string provides a soft feel and comfort. It is reasonably durable; cuts/frays slightly easier than other strings, but is overall very acceptable considering the comfort it provides. I now only use this string.

Great String
5/5
I really didnt want to like this string due to the price; however Im SOLD! One of the BEST strings I ever hit with. The string delivers plenty of pop and feel with the unwanted shock. Lots of control. My serves are better than ever. I normally hit with a Poly, but probably will stick more with a multifilament now. If you can afford the Bi-Phase, buy them!!

This product had great performance and was used as the crosses as a Hybrid with another string and was very comfortable, however, it only lasted about a week with playing 2 hours per day. My son has a powerful stroke and top spin and so its unfortunate it didnt last longer as he really liked the feel and performance!

Quality Mulitfilament String for Price
4/5
This string was very nice. I strung at 55 which might have been too low. Not the best Multifilament String I have hit. But this had nice power! I was looking for a more powerful string but this a little too much as I found my self sailing shots. Tennis Express did a great job of stringing this racquet. They made sure they cut the ties and had it done very fast to ship. It just wasnt the string for me cause I lost some control with it however def a good quality string. Thanks Again Tennis Express your service is great!

Comfortable, durable, pocketing
5/5
Had to try something different as I kept breaking another popular multi. In the other strings defense, breaking would occur on hard hits near the top of the string bed. With regard to this Technifibre: Great feel & pocketing. Very comfortable even on off-center hits and there are plenty... Im keeping previous elbow problem at bay with this string in a Pro Kennex Ki5 315 strung @ 58. These strings dont move around at all which will no doubt contribute to their longevity. I chose Technifibre because they appear to be string specialists.

X One Biphase
5/5
Ive been playing tennis for many years at the 4.5 level. My elbow is sensitive to harder strings and rackets that are stiff and vibrate. So I need a softer more powerful string. X one biphase is the the closest to natural gut as Ive felt. It even shreads as like gut. The resiliency and feel are great. Of course they dont last as long as polys, but are great for the arm.

Similar to Natural Gut
5/5
My son switched to the Technifibre x-one Biphase string recently and it has been the answer to several issues. Its important that he has a softer string and his previous multi-filament strings had such poor longevity that we were constantly restringing. The Biphase has given him the soft, natural gut feel, at a reasonable price and has had much better results with how long it lasts. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Perfect for my game
5/5
I have 2 Radical IG Pros. One is strung with gut which I like. The other racket is strung with BiPhase. Both rackets are strung on the loose side. After hitting with both for over 2 months now. My favorite is the BiPhase string job. So far, the durability has been decent on both string jobs. I get good power. Decent control. I get really good bite on my chips. Stays low. Again, I string loose tho. Overall very satisfied. This is my #1 string now. Do string a little tighter as it will loosen up a bit afterwards. 4.5 doubles player. 60 years old.

Soft feel, plenty of pop, can be controlled
5/5
This is an excellent string. I use it in the mains with Luxilon Fluoro 17g poly in the crosses. If I were to use this string in both mains and crosses it would be too powerful. I think it would also be too powerful in a frame bigger than a 95. But in my Pro Staff 95, Im able to get lots of control, lots of spin, more than enough power, and I never have arm issues. Essentially, I use this as my cheaper substitute for gut. For my taste it plays extremely close to natural gut. The string does have endurance issues. I play around two times a week and can get 7-10 weeks from it. For me, the cost vs. performance ratio is acceptable.
