Description
Tourna Big Hitter Blue 16 is now available in a new striking blue color. This string is a great option for the baseliner seeking durability with some additional pop without breaking the bank on each restring. One of the few strings to use aluminum fibers, the poly-poly ether composition of this string allows for surprising resiliency for extra power. Placing the primary concern on control, Big Hitter provides ample spin generation to allow baseliners to swing freely and still control the ball. The German engineered string also rated highly for its resistance to string movement as the strings move back into their original place quickly after impact. It is recommended to string Big Hitter between 5 and 10% lower than normal tension due to the stiffness as well as the above average tension maintenance.

good, inexpensive alternative poly string

I buy this string for a friend who is a pro in Mexico, where the cost of some new strings is prohibitive for all but a few students and customers. This string gives the feel and experience of some of the latest innovative strings at a fraction of the cost. I have observed no real difference.

Big Hitter- Poly-Polar

I was disappointed, several years ago, when Topspin stopped selling Poly-Polar string. I think Tourna got the contract for distribution, and are putting their name on it. Great string, at a good price.

Big Hitter Blues for Main Street

Using the Big Hitter Blue strings for mains and a synthetic gut for crosses. Exceptional Feel for a poly string. The color reminds me of my younger years when I used to use a string called Blue Star. I have only played an hour with these strings but on a ball machine, durability good so far, jury still out.
