Using the same poly-poly ether composition as the original Big Hitter, this string features a significant textured surface to enhance ball bite and create even greater spin. One of the few strings to utilize aluminum fibers, Big Hitter Rough possesses surprising resiliency and power from a typically stiffer string construction. This string still places its primary concerns on durability, control, and additionally spin allowing players to swing freely from the baseline without fear. The German engineered string placed highly in tension maintenance and resistance to string movement. Due to the stiffness and good tension maintenance, it is recommended to string this one 5-10% lower than normal. So if you are a baseline player searching for a durable string to create tons of spin to place your powerful groundstrokes, give this one a try.

JUST WOW!

Tested this with the BHB7 17. Both are amazing strings. It bites the ball well and the MULTIPLE directional spin benefits my game.
I have this on my YT IG Radical Pro, as long as it is UNDER 58lbs, it is awesome. Anything more than that gives me a little discomfort. I am undecided whether to order a reel of this or the bhb7. its either or. Great product!

This is a very nice poly fir the price. It has a similar grip o a Black code or an RPM blast string. After playing with this string, and comparing it to the more expensive polys it felt a little bit more stiff as a RPM Blast and the black code felt a bit more flexible and soft. If you buy this - you may want to hybrid it up with a nice synthetic gut to soften up the feel. Overall a great string!

These strings were amazing and a great transition from RPM blast. As soon as I got these strings I played and i played just as well as I did with my rpm blasts. Theyre cheap and in my opinion just as good as RPM blast

tourna big hitter rough strings

Upon the recommendation of one of the stringers I purchased this string for my 12 yr. old who is an advanced player. I also followed his recommendation of having it strung at 35 lbs. which seemed very low. I have to say my son is extremely pleased with the string, it offers both power & control from the base line right to the net, groundstrokes, volleys, overheads & serves are very accurate. Ive hit with his racquet and at 35 lbs am very pleased with the string. I will be purchasing it for myself as well and would recommend it to anyone looking for power & control. I would recommend talking to a stringer to get an idea of the correct tension for your game

I hybrid my strings with a Luxilon on the mains and Big hitter on the cross. In the past, Ive used synthetic gut for the cross, but they didnt last long, maybe 2 months being played 4-5 times a week before they popped. These last me around 4 months and have great feel to them. I would recommend. You might we weary of the poly plastic as strings, but they hit great.
