Tourna Big Hitter Silver 16G Tennis String
Description
For players seeking a more playable polyester based string at an economic price, Tourna Big Hitter Silver 16 is a great option for the baseliner seeking durability with some additional pop. One of the few strings to use aluminum fibers, the poly-poly ether composition of this string allows for surprising resiliency for extra power. Placing the primary concern on control, Big Hitter provides ample spin generation to allow baseliners to swing freely and still control the ball. The German engineered string also rated highly for its resistance to string movement as the strings move back into their original place quickly after impact. It is recommended to string Big Hitter between 5 and 10% lower than normal tension due to the stiffness as well as the above average tension maintenance.

This string is great!

Ive tried many brands and categories of strings over the years, and right now this is my favorite. Its not too soft, and not too stiff. Strung at the right tension, it gives me a perfect combination of power, spin, and control, all at a great price. Durability is much better than expected, and tension loss is slow and gradual and finite. Thanks Tourna!

Great string for its price. It plays very similar to Head Ultra Tour. Easy to generate spin and has excellent control. I didnt like the comfort however.

Very good responsive string

This is the best string Ive found so far for mains in hybrid setups. This string provides a very good combination of power, spin, durability, and control. I strung this in the mains at 60 lbs with Forten Sweet 16 in the crosses at 50 lbs, which is the best combo Ive found so far. Im currently using a Pro Staff 95 BLX.
