After much success in juniors, he transitioned to the tour in 2007 and later won the Challenger Banque Nationale de Rimouski in doubles with compatriot Milos Raonic. In 2014 he started gaining confidence winning the 2014 Wimbledon Doubles title with Jack Sock and reaching his first ATP Singles Final at the Citi Open. His favorite surface is hard and his favorite tournament is the US Open. He enjoys listening to music, playing the guitar and singing. His dream tennis band is John McEnroe on guitar, Marat Safin on drums, Bjorn Borg on keyboard and himself on rhythm guitar/vocals.
