In cooperation with renowned Fraunhofer Institute, the Volkl Organix 8 utilizes research in the field of organic materials such as carbon and cellulose to create an uncommonly comfortable all around racquet. With a forgiving 100 sq. in. headsize and moderate 10.6 ounce unstrung weight, this seemingly traditional tweener racquet features numerous technologies specifically designed to increase the comfort and feel at impact. Advancing the previous DNX carbon nanotube material, the Organix 8 has used the nanotubes to coat cellulose, a material derived from plants, which offers increased flexibility and vibration dampening to lessen shock. Using information from studies on how the eye works, the new Organix line also includes the Optispot system, which utilizes contrasting colors along the inside of the frame to train the eye to focus on the center of the sweetspot. The idea behind this is that the eye notices contrast more so than similar colors, and by focusing on the sweetspot, more consistent shots will result, improving both overall performance, and lessening potential arm issues. The former Sensor handle system has also been replaced with the new Bio Sensor system, which takes advantage of the mass dampener pendulum concept that helps skyscrapers avoid damage from natural disasters such as earthquakes. The way this works is that when an incoming wave of shock heads towards the players arm, the weighted pin inside the handle moves, creating a counter wave, effectively decreasing the amplitude of the incoming shock. Designed for players of all styles, this racquet is best suited to intermediate to advanced players with medium to fast swings. With both stability and maneuverability, this is one of the most comfortable and versatile racquets on the market.

organix 8 plays itself.
5/5
Man, what a balanced, powerful racquet with great feel. It is very effective for me at the net. Feels like I just need to hold the racquet firmly and aim the head and the racquet does the work itself. I found the 300g weight very comfortable and helped my elbow problems with the handle system. I played two sets of doubles in a row last week and my arm and elbow feel perfectly fine.

Great All-Around Performer
5/5
After a series of inexplicable broken frames, with no sympathy from Babolat, Ive been looking around for an alternative to the Aero ProDrive, but just didnt find a racquet with the same playability. Then I demoed the Volkl Organix 8 and instantly fell in love. This racquet is everything I loved in the Aero ProDrive PLUS a reduction in punishment to this 55-year-plus arm and shoulder. Ive had a pair of them for about a month, they play identically not always so for Babolat pairs, and Im still happy as can be with the racquets.

like softer pure drive
5/5
I ended up buying two Organix 8 300Gs and I got one strung with a Vokl multifilament and the other with a soft poly. They both play great but the poly has better top spin and Im more confident hitting the ball hard that itll stay in. This frame reminds me of Bobolat Pure Drive but feels a bit softer. That is exactly what I wanted.

Soft Racquet

I found the racquet too soft and too light causing me to swing harder for performance. I noticed less shock in the grip, but still felt enough shock from having to swing harder for performance. I cannot recommend this racquet at all to a 5-0 or better player. The grip was cheap and came off at the butt while playing.
