One of the original tweener racquets, it has 102 square inch head, tapered beam, 10.1 ounce unstrung weight and head-light balance. Volkl`s Big Grommets increase the size of the sweet spot for added power and control, even on off-center hits. While many tweener frames can be harsh and uncomfortable, Volkl built the V1 with their Dual Dampening Grip. The technology places a rubber-like thermoplastic inside the racquet handle to create a dampened, plush feel, without removing the feel for the ball. After all these years, the V1 Classic is still a unique offering on the racquet market which can work wonders for beginners, intermediates, and advanced players.
