For players who want a multifilament with crisp feel and great control without breaking the bank, the answer is Wilson Sensation Control 16G. The string utilizes a nylon fiber core for excellent feel and response while maintaining comfort. The outer layer then utilizes LCP (Liquid Crystalline Polymer) ribbons that increase the firmness and improve durability. The ribbons make the string play a bit firmer than original Sensation and give it a crisp and controlled response on contact. The 16 gauge diameter provides excellent durability while sacrificing a bit of feel. Players who enjoy a crisp and controlled multifilament at a great price will have lots to enjoy with Wilson Sensation Control 16G.

Construction: Multifilament with LCP outer wrap

Color: Natural

Gauge: 1.30mm

Length: 40’ set

Sensation sensational string!!

I did not get a chance to see how the string reacts, because of all the rain the too cold weather. But I had a chance couple of days ago and I really like it. My returns were going deep and staying in, I like these strings. And my serves have more POP

Sensation Control is the new updated version of Wilson Sensation which is designed to be more durable; the same treatment that make the string more durable adds to its control as it reduces the elasticity of the string. There are three sub $10 multifilament strings that I have tried and my rating is based this comparison Prince Premier Attach, Genesis Thunder Blast and Wilson Sensation Control. All three are i more durable, ii cheaper and iii I believe have similar playing characteristics to X-one Biophase and Wilson Next which are the gold standards of multifilaments. I give the highest overall rating to Wilson Sensation Control as it seems to have both better feel and durability than the Prince Premier Attack and better overall performance than the Thunderblast. The Genesis Thunderblast has the best initial performance, but loses string tension after about 1 hour of play. With the Thunderblast, the strings also seem to move the most.

This raquet is god!!!!!!

I swear these strings are literally possessed by Jesus! These strings has plenty of power, perfect topspin and great control, its light and helps me stay in those long rally with changing of pace, direction and speed. It has also helped me to hit more back hand winners and is good for players that like to serve and volley. The feel is incredible and the swing is very smooth like. I highly recommend these strings for any player who is consistent. These strings have great tension as well and they do not pop very easily.

Not good for topspin groundstrokes
1/5
Poor performance. Durability was poor, but I was not expecting much since this strings main properties were supposed to be playability which was okay and control which was very poor. If you are looking for some additional power and an arm-friendly string this one may be something for you. If you like hitting groundstrokes with pace and topspin, youll miss long and youll need to restring often.
