Building off the success of previous models such as the Six.One Team, Wilson offers a classic players frame in a lighter package with the Wilson Six.One 95L 16x18 Tennis Racquet. This model retains the 95 square inch head size, allowing for precise control and maximum response. Weighing in at 10.8oz (strung), this frame is light and fast through the hitting zone while still offering enough mass to hit with power. Wilson helps to keep the frame stable in the head by changing the balance point to 1-point head light, making it a bit more head heavy than other Six.Ones. The frame still maneuvers well at the net, getting into position on reflex volleys and putting away high balls. The feel and liveliness are further enhanced by Wilson’s new Parallel Drilling process during manufacturing. This allows the racquet to have a comfortable feel while still retaining power and feel. The 16x18 string pattern blends a healthy level of spin production with precise control. Amplifeel 360 technology in the handle further increases the frame’s comfort and feel by filtering out harsh vibrations and feedback. Wilson also now gives players a guide built into the paint job at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions for where to add their Tungsten Tape for an even higher level of stability and a customized feel. The Six.One 95L will be a solid choice for players looking for a classic control oriented frame in a lighter, friendlier package.

Definitely better control
4/5
I used the Pro Staff Classic 6.1 for many years, and shifted to a very light Head Ti2 a few years back. Never felt I had complete control, so switched to this Six.One Light racket with the smaller 95 inch head size and stiffer frame with Prince pro Blend Kevlar strings to help with control. So far, am happy with the racket. The stiffer frame and Kevlar strings require a quicker swing speed, but that is balanced by the control I get with this racket.
