All around performance with added durability, Wilson Stamina 17 generates additional spin but has slightly decreased durability compared to the 16 gauge version. This string takes the feel of a synthetic gut and adds greater durability. The monofilament core provides solid control and tension maintenance. Stamina is named for the addition of 10 Tensilast wraps around the central core that help to increase durability by resisting notching. This is a good string choice for players breaking regular synthetic guts too quickly but do not want to switch to a much stiffer polyester based string.

Construction: Monofilament polyamide + Tensilast outerwrap
Color: White
Gauge: 1.25mm

Length: 660' / 200m

Perfect replacement string for Wilson racquetball players. Plays well and lasts too. Priced to make frequent replacement much easier. Very easy to use as a stringer.

I use this string for myself on both mains/crosses because of the nice bite it provides. Has good feel when fresh. Durability is average to good in its class. Price makes it attractive for frequent breakage (typical of 17g gut - will last about 15 playing hours or about, $0.25 per hour) but I string my own. Plays almost as good as NXT and 25% of the price. I use 16g on mains and 17g on crosses when I string my friends' racquets and durability increase 2.5 x. Comparable strings for bite/playablity cost $8-$9 per set from what I have found.

This is my number one string choice for Wilson factory replacement string for racquetball players. It is priced right and gives my customers good string life and excellent playability at a very good price.

This is the best value for syn. gut. for a self-stringer. I like this string because it provides a lot of bite for control. It almost plays like NXT in my opinion but at a fraction of the cost. Durability is not any different than other syn. gut 17 g. strings - it lasts about 20 hours then snap.
