Description

Used by tour pro Angelique Kerber, the Yonex V-Core Xi 100 is made for players with full, aggressive strokes. Isometric technology gives this frame a 7% larger sweet spot, while a 4-point head light balance makes it nice and maneuverable. A weight of 11.1 ounces makes this a sturdy racquet with the potential to create added spin through racquet head acceleration. High-density MicroCore material is also placed near the 10 and 2 o'clock head positions to increase spin potential and stability. This is a perfect frame for all-around players seeking precision and control.

Note: This racquet comes with a cover

I have been playing with the Wilson Triad for over 10 years now. I recently switched to the VCORE and hav found that the Yonex is very comparable and caters to anyone with tennis elbow, seeing as it is such a light racquet. Love it. Thank you tennis express for your suggestion.

This is the best racquet that I have played with to date. It has slightly less power when strung with Sensation but great control and spin. The isometric design allows for better low shot retrieval and net play. Topspin

The racquet feels good but I have an elbow problem now and cant hit. The Yonex, along with the soft string, should be fine when I resume playing.

So far so good. It seems right down the middle of the road in weight and handling. I am a 4.5 used to be 5.0 in younger years player.

Yonex VCore Xi 100

I have purchased four VCore Xi 100s for my daughter. She loves the racquet! The weight and balance combine to it a great racquet. I see no reason expect a change in her opinion any time soon.

Yonex Xi 100 300g vs Wilson Steam 99
4/5
I was looking for a racket that plays a little more control oriented than my Wilson Steam 99, and I tried this one. The Yonex is a great racket, feels extremely nice, solid and comfortable and has great control. Swingweight and weight is very similar to my Steam after I added a small amount of lead tape at 3 and 9 oclock position. I found that in order to create the same amount of spin as my Steam, I would have to alter my stroke a bit. For now I stick with my Steam 99, but the Yonex would be great for someone who is not that topspin oriented than me. Ball contact feels more plushy than the Steam 99, very nice actually.
