Jack Sock started playing tennis at the age of eight, when he found his mother’s racquet. As a junior, Jack captured the 18s Boys USTA National title. He also won the 2010 USTA Boys' 18s Nationals and 2010 US Open junior titles. His favorite surfaces are clay and hard court, and favorite shot is his forehand. His favorite tournament is the US Open, and it makes sense that his idol growing up was Andy Roddick. Hobbies include playing golf and hanging out with friends.Nicknames are “J. Sizzle” and “Showtime”. He also regularly plays doubles, winning the 2014 Wimbledon title with Vasek Pospisil and the 2011 US Open mixed doubles title with Melanie Oudin.
