Description

Being the lightest of the K Factor racquets, the Wilson KZero has a larger headsize for a larger sweetspot that is more lenient for beginners. With Wilson`s [K]arophite Black technology, the K Zero provides maximum power and enhanced [K]ontrol combined with exceptional maneuverability and stability. Our team found that this racquet gives plenty of pace on the ball from the baseline. The solid frame ensures ease of swing for beginners and life-long players alike.

The KZero also features several of K Factor`s revolutionary racquet technologies. The [K]ontour Yoke for example, is a new frame cross-section shape that enhances stiffness at key stress points for improved torsional stability. The [K]ompact Center is a new shortened yoke design that improves handling, maneuverability, and provides additional response from the stringbec. Also, the K Zero frame is encoded with Karophite Black, an evolution of Wilson`s nCode technology, which utilizes a new structure incorporating additional bonds between the SiO2 and graphite molecules on a nanoscopic scale, resulting in more feel and a stronger, more stable racquet.

This racquet comes pre-strung with Wilson Synthetic Gut Extreme 16g White at 60lbs.

Note: This racquet does not come with a cover

K Zero raquet
5/5
I'm an older 4.0 player with a strong forehand. I found the K Zero too light until I weighted it with tape on top and sides. Then I found I had power and control (I had it strung a notch over the mid-point). I have a long back swing while standing open-faced. I've had to go to a more traditional stance, stepping in with my left foot for my forehand. The racquet is stiff enough, and still gives me power when I swing hard on both sides.

I wanted a lighter racquet. Usually, I bought Prince & was satisfied with it. Decided to try Wilson & I'm happy with my choice. Not a whole lot of difference from the Prince O3 though. Still comparing. Price at Tennis Express was the best.

Great looks and balance, but very light for players 3.5 or above. Needs about another 2 oz. of weight for more power. Too tiny on striking the ball. Very disappointed since I love my old Wilson Triad 3.0.

Wilson K Factor K Zero

I love it! It took me some time to get used to it. I had to change the strings twice to find the correct ones, but I've got my sensation back. I can slice the way I used to with no problem which is very important since I'm playing every day. Thanks to the racquet lightness I no longer have shoulder problems. The pain is gone!

Perfect Racquet!

My daughter who is 5 and very tiny has tiny hands, but needs a racquet to improve her reach. Something light enough for her to swing fully. Her game has improved significantly with this racquet. She is an intermediate player and the racquet is very adaptable to her continuously improving game. The small grip size is very helpful too!

K zero for seniors
5/5
Ive been playing for 60 years and so I wasnt exactly tempted by a racquet advertised for beginners. But I recommend the k zero strongly to those in their retirement who want to play tennis everyday without damage to their elbows and wrists. Of course theres some loss of power compared to a heavier model but its control, strung at 56 pounds, is excellent. Dont swing too hard. One of my six months old frames cracked after a heavy overhead. But I replaced it immediately with the same brand and shall do so as long as your warehouse continues to stock it.

Am senior woman tennis player who has been playing with the Wilson K Zero racquet for past 3 years and just re-ordered the same racquet. I love this racquet for its lightness and control it gives me. Have a little personal concern with some minor string alignments that always get my attention. Overall, this racquet gets my rave review.

K Zero = Perfect Trilogy
5/5
The K Zero has what to me is the “perfect trilogy” that is head size, weight and control. I prefer a prestrung weight of 55 lbs on both of my K Zeros. Even four years after this racquet’s initial release… it rocks! The special sale price TE made them available to me, with full racquet covers yet, brought a tear to my eye. TE your personal service is awesome… thanks!

Moving on to a bigger head
4/5
After playing for 55 years with small head racket including a T2000 at one point I borrowed my wifes beginner racket, a K Zero, while I was having several other rackets strung. What I discovered was a racket that is considerly more forgiving that my current Wilson and Babalot rackets with 90 inch heads. And also much lighter and easier to wield in my old age. It still has fairly good pop and allows me to use more topspin to keep the ball on the court and utilize my left handed slice serve. The only negative is that I cannot hit the hard flat serves of the past which Im not sure is the K Zero or just old age. I feel like its a good compromise for a senior player and recommend that you try it next time you decide to demo a racket.

Not for the avergage player... or perhaps its me, but I wouldnt say this racket has all that much power or control. When I first picked up and hit, it felt rather like I was using a flat wooden paddle. Ive switched out strings twice now have yet to try after the second stringing. Feels good in your hand, light and balance is what I expected. Maybe I just need some time to get use to it.

Wilson K-Zero, nice
3.66666666667/5
Been using my Wilson K-Zero for about 4 weeks now playing doubles only, twice a week and I find it comfortable and easy to adapt to. Being a beginner tennis player, the large head size works well for me good sized hitting surface and its very lightweight too! My only issue with it is that, even with the use of a dampener, I still get quite a bit of vibration. Overall, Im enjoying the use of this racquet in my recreational tennis games.
