What are the Guys are Wearing in Shanghai?



We are right in the middle of the Shanghai Rolex Masters tournament, and it has already been filled with heartbreak, excitement, and drama. Even though players and fans are still hungover form the exciting play of the US Open just weeks ago, there has been no shortage of inspired tennis over the three introductory days of the perennial hardcourt tourney. You can find awesome articles about this tournament over on Tennis Now, but here I’m going to tell you about some of the fashion trends of the tournament so far.

satyabrata-biswas      Mischa Zverev, older brother and doubles partner of Alexander, played his way out of the qualifying stages all the way to the round of 16. He wore the addidas Men’s Pro Tennis Tee and matching Short Flash Red and Tech Steel Pants. This particular style is one we have seen from some other the younger addidas players in this tournament such as Lucas Pouille and Alexander Zverev. Even Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, the highest ranked and one of the most distinguished addidas wearers wore this shirt to advance to the Quarterfinals.

Let’s go to the other the side of the court in that Zverev v. Krygios bout. Although Australian young gun Nick Kyrgios did not paint himself in a particularly good light, he was wearing some great colors. Nike released its  recently this month, and we are seeing an interesting combination of the flashy new colors from a variety of players. Kyrgios has chosen to wear the Bright Citrus Crew with the Purple Dynasty 9 Inch Shorts.  American Jack Sock is sporting a similar look, but adding in the Featherlight Cap.

His play looked shaky in the 6-3, 7-6(3) loss to the Serbian veteran, but his Rafa Challenger Tennis Top dazzled. This battle ready piece of clothing features not Dri-FIT, but AeroReact technology.
