Description
For players seeking natural gut comfort with a slightly crisper feel, Gamma Live Wire XP 16 features a unique multicore construction for a firmer response. The Live Wire fibers which help to increase the power and comfort of the string, while the Zyex fibers are designed to be stiffer for a crisp feel. Live Wire XP utilizes the Zyex monofilaments in the outerwrap as well a pearlized coating to resist notching and enhance durability. This string will play just slightly stiffer than the original Live Wire, while it retains all the comfort and power of the original. This string is suited for an all court style seeking a more durable alternative to multifilament strings.

Gamma String deal

I got a great deal on the string, I had been using the GammaLive Wire XP for a while, it give me alot on control, The Tennis Express deal is great, buy 3 get 1 free, at first, when I ordered over the phone, forgot to mention the promotion, but they still send me the free string after the 1st shippment.

GAMMA LIve Wire XP 16

I have been using Live Wire XP for a few years and continue to like its playability and comfort. It holds tension well and wears well. It provides good bite on the ball for top spin, slice, and kick serves. Very good feel on touch shots. I previously used Wilson NXT and find the GAMMA Live Wire XP plays very similarly but hold tension a little better. I re-string frequently and like that GAMMA Live Wire XP is available in a reel, saving money.

This string was recommended by my pro. My Babolat Aero Drive Team is strung at 58. Ive only played a few times with the new racquet and strings but so far I love it.

I am a stringer have about35 customers I string for some were using other strings, I always sugested they try Gamma strings.
I would say at least 80% liked the results with Gamma strings
some used other Gamma strings and in most cases were satisfied wit the results.I no longer can play but I used Gamma prof. 16 when I played and always find them the next thing to tru Gut which is very expensive to use.
