The NikeCourt Juniors` Vapor Pro Tennis Shoe is an update to one of the most popular shoes on the pro tour. Nike designed the Vapor Pro to be lighter and more stable than the shoe's predecessor, the Vapor X. The innovative three layer design places breathability, stability, and durability features where they are needed most, but without adding excess weight. The Juniors' Vapor Pro looks to continue the high performance tradition we have come to expect from the Nike "Vapor" name.
Upper: Comprised of mesh for improved ventilation, but the interior side of the mesh has been reinforced to offer better support. The outer mesh layer has a thin and flexible overlay to improve durability. The asymmetrical lacing system better secures the foot during rapid lateral movements, as well as shielded medial eyestays to protect the laces from damage when sliding. New in the Vapor Pro, a stretchy internal sleeve hugs the foot for a sock like fit.
Midsole: The soft foam midsole for responsive cushioning.
Outsole: To further protect and stabilize the foot during quick movements, the lateral side features a Full-Length foot frame. As far as the outsole goes, Nike's herringbone design offers plenty of grip without hindering the ability to slide. Rubber has been removed from low-wear areas of the outsole to keep the weight at a minimum. This shoe is designed for use on hard court surfaces.
