Featuring new packaging and a material reformulation, the Dunlop Biomimetic S-Gut 16 updates the classic synthetic gut with some improvements. Constructed utilizing a large monofilament core to provide a solid feel and tension maintenance. S-Gut also features smaller outer wraps to increase feel and soften the stringbed. The result is a comfortable basic synthetic gut string, perfect for players looking for a solid playing string without breaking the bank. Also makes a good string to use in a hybrid, such as to soften the stringbed when used with a polyester string.

Purchased demo racket and had it strung by you prior to shipping. I played with it once and the strings broke. I am not a strong player so I do not know why they did not last. I cannot comment on the racket as I have not had it restrung yet.

I needed stringing and strings that would protect me from tennis elbow. The strings selected and the tension recommended by Tennis Express has protected my poor elbow. And my game has improved.

S-GUT BIOMIMETIC 16G WHITE STRING

The string has the necessary bite to allow me to keep balls in even when swinging hard on ground strokes. Strung at maximum recommended tension for the racquet.
A good blend of power and durability. I love this string.
